 The Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) is the world’s largest, oldest, and most respected membership organization for employee assistance professionals. CREDITS:

The Pittsburgh EAPA Chapter offers the following continuing education credits for attendees at the monthly meetings: 2 PDHs (Professional Development Hours for the CEAP credential), 2 CEUs (Continuing Education Units for the LSW, LCSW, LPC and LMFT credentials), and 2 PCB Approved Education for the Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) credential.

CEAP and CAC certificates are available at each meeting. CEU certificates will be mailed to attendees by the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work. These credit hours satisfy requirements for LSW/LCSW, LMFT, and LPC biennial license renewal. For information on social work continuing education please visit socialwork.pitt.edu/continuing-ed.

FEES AND REGISTRATION:

Attendance fees are included in an EAPA membership. Attendance for a one-time guest is free unless one desires PDH/CEU credits for which there is a $20 charge. If you are not a member of EAPA the cost for CEUs is $20. For Paypal- click on the link: https://paypal.me/PittsburghEAPA?locale.x=en_US Then you will need to sign in to your PayPal account and designate the amount ($20) and then authorize the payment. You do need to have a PayPal  account set up to send money. If you don't have a PayPal account and would prefer to send a check, please mail it to:

Chapter meeting dates/times:
3rd Tuesday of each month excluding August. No meetings are held in August.


Why should I attend?
Chapter meetings are a great way to make professional contacts, network, discover new resources, and develop new skills.


Chapter program:
A segment of each meeting is dedicated to the introduction of members and non-members. We encourage all attendees to make announcements about upcoming events, news related to the field, and job opportunities. After announcements, an educational training is presented.


Continuing education:
Each training provides a minimum of 1.5 pre-approved professional development hours (PDH).


Cost to attend meeting:
Members - no cost
Non-members - $20
